A DST file converter transforms regular images or vector artwork into the DST embroidery format used by Tajima and many other industrial embroidery machines. Since an image (JPG, PNG, SVG, PDF) is made of pixels or vectors, and a DST file is made of stitch commands, the conversion requires embroidery digitizing, not just a simple file rename.
