Madrone is a beautiful, multi-hued wood. It has a variable color range (coffee brown, burgundy, warm cream and salmon pink), with an uncommon and striking appearance. It is very hard, resists scratches, and polishes to a fine finish. It looks absolutely gorgeous on our floor (see photo). We just bought too much...

This high-quality and unusual wood sells for $8/sq ft online (plus very pricey shipping because it's heavy), and $10/sq ft or more at local stores. I will sell ours for $7.50/sq ft (and no shipping, if you're local and can pick it up...). We have approximately 150-200 sq feet.
