We are pleased to offer this wonderful antique English Pub table. It is made of quartersawn Solid Oak (Tiger grain)

This table is of a very stout construction that uses tongue and groove, as well as mortis and tenon, in it's joinery work. It has been built with a uniquely designed cantilevered draw leaf system as well. The aprons on this table are solid planks the have been attached the the upper leg stocks with a tongue and groove joint. The aprons are plain with an accent trim on the bottom edge. The legs are very stout , with a balustrade design incorporated in the turnings, they are square, just above the pear shaped feet, to accommodate the mortis and tenon mounted stretchers. The stretchers have an interlocking groove at the centerpoint, and are of a stout rectangular 7/8 by 1 3/4 stock. The table top is made up of 1 inch thick quartersawn tongue and groove planks, as are the draw leafs. There is much to be admired in the craftsmanship that has gone into the making of this table.

The table is 36 inches square when stowed, and 36 by 58 inches when the leafs are fully extended. The table is 30 inches high, stowed, and 29 inches high when the leafs are extended.

This table is in very good condition considering it's ninety or so years of service. In that time it has acquired some watermarks here and there, no doubt, from happily hoisted pints. As well as a few slight scratches here and there. But most of these very slight imperfections only add to the character of this beautiful, and unique table.

This sturdy, and practical table would be a fine addition to any country kitchen, or vacation cabin. It has given good service for ninety years and will give good service for many more years to come.
